Brass knuckles over kid gloves is about incorporating elements of subcultures, pop surrealism and low brow art to make a high brow fusion, a new brow genre. Of New Zealand and Latvian descent, Stephanie is a hybrid in New Zealand culture, she expresses this through her love of other hybrid subcultures, bringing the foreign and underground to social art awareness.
